Apple Macintosh: Finally a computer designed to be used by "the rest of us". While relatively few could afford to buy one, the Mac has had a profound influence on how we interact with computers.

The Internet: While the Mac changed how we interact with computers, the Internet is changing how we interact with each other. Humans are a social species, and the Internet is adding new layers, and indeed new dimensions, to how that social interaction takes place.
